I-Key Features
   
  The system is based on vastly superior contactless technology to ensure ruggedness and long term reliability
The durable plastic keys do not deteriorate due to wear or dirt build up because there are no contacts
to become contaminated		  
   
  Maintenance issues relating to similar reader systems are totally eliminated as there are no
electro mechanical or moving parts within the reader and the solid-state electronics are of the highest
possible quality		  
   
  Customers can be assured of total security with the system as all transactions are 100% security encoded
using the very latest encryption algorithms and key usage can be restricted to individual machines
or groups of machines as required		  
   
  A number of different key types are available including cash bank, credit bank, free vend override and
the incredibly popular hospitality key
Not only can this key be programmed to issue users with a controlled number of free vends per day,
it is even possible to control on which day of the week such vends are to be allowed and at what times,
giving our customers total control and flexibility in any situation
Any combination of key attributes can be allocated to any individual key
(eg. 3 free drinks per day plus cash bank, etc) and a further discount function can be utilised to allow
privileged users to take advantage of an entirely alternative pricing structure on the same machine!		  
   
  Thanks to the in-house development of the very latest electronic systems, together with the vast
experience of DarenthMJS in both electronic design and vending technology, the I-Key system can be
incorporated in a machine or suite of machines at the lowest possible cost
When utilised as a cost management solution to control free issue drinks within the workplace for example,
the system will not only pay for itself within a very short space of time, but will deliver ongoing savings thereafter.		  
   
 

Operators of machines can take a massive benefit from the system by providing users with
cash keys and then restricting coin acceptance to large values only. Not only does this at last eliminate
the problems associated with transporting, handling and counting large numbers of small value coins,
but it has frequently resulted in considerably increased sales as users tend to ‘charge up’ their keys at
the beginning of the working week and are therefore not discouraged against impulse purchases thereafter
by not having the correct change to hand.
Troublesome and expensive change-givers can also be eliminated in favour of much simpler and less
expensive coin validators, as users can simply ‘mop-up’ change onto their keys, making nightmare coin jams
a thing of the past.

  
 

I-Key Types

  
   
  An electronic ‘bank’ which can be loaded with a cash value by inserting coins into a machine equipped with
a coin mechanism or remotely at a separate re-charging station, and thereafter allows purchases to be made
by deducting the value of the vend made from the onboard electronic bank.		  
   
  The key is pre-loaded with a number of credits, each of which allows a single ‘free’ vend to be made from the machine. When the credits are exhausted the key is simply thrown away. Frequently used on new installations to grant users a number of free tasting opportunities to promote brand loyalty thereafter.  
   
  Can be programmed to grant users a controlled number of free vends per day, therefore providing total
cost control in the workplace environment whilst still retaining the goodwill of staff who may have previously
been used to a total free vend facility.		  
   
  Enables privileged users to take advantage of an entirely different pricing structure within the machine which,
unlike most systems, can relate to all or just a selected few products on offer. Discount privileges can also be
made available to snack and can products when machines are connected together.		  
   
  Provides master override facility and makes all products available without any charge whilst inserted into the machine.
